Job summary

Qualifications

• Six months of customer service experience.
• Basic computer skills for word processing and data entry.

• Ability to protect privacy and PHI of patients.

Responsibilities

• Provides courteous and professional connections with patients in person, over the phone, or via secure messaging.
• Documents all calls accurately in the EMR.
• Schedules patient appointments for visits, tests, referrals, and consultations.
• Registers patients by confirming and updating demographic data.
• Obtains insurance cards, IDs, and signatures as required.
• Helps patients complete forms for regulatory and billing needs.
• Suggests financial assistance options and collects payments per policy.
