Qualifications

• Minimum typing speed of 50 wpm.
• 6 months healthcare or 1 year customer service.
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office.
• Familiar with health insurance and insurance verification.
• Exceptional communication and customer service is required.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients in person and on the phone.
• Register patients and update demographics; verify insurance.
• Collect copayments and process payments.
• Assist with visit closure and follow-up tasks.
• Provide wayfinding and information to patients/visitors.
• Maintain patient files and HIPAA compliance.
• Support staff with clerical duties.
• Ensure front desk and waiting area are clean.
• Operate office equipment and electronic health records.
