Qualifications

Must complete Patient Access training course.
Able to work in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.
Detail oriented, organized, team player with excellent customer service.
Knowledge of medical and insurance terminology preferred.
Experience with computer applications (MS Office, EMR).
Accurate typing skills.
Knowledge of HIPAA/AHCA/EMTALA/Medicare guidelines.
Bilingual English/Spanish/Creole preferred.

Responsibilities

Coordinate patient flow and timely processing within the department.
Maintain knowledge of pricing, financial assistance options, and revenue cycle operations.
Provide professional, compassionate service to patients and families.
