Job summary

Baptist Health is seeking a Patient Access-oriented professional to coordinate patient flow and ensure timely processing within the department. You will work with knowledge of insurance requirements, pricing and financial assistance options, while delivering compassionate, friendly service.

Minimum qualifications include a high school level education with training; bilingual English/Spanish or Creole is preferred.

Qualifications

• Complete the Patient Access training course.
• High School, GED, or equivalent.
• Ability to work in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.
• Detail oriented with strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of medical and insurance terminology is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate patient flow and timely processing within the department.
• Maintain knowledge of insurance requirements, pricing, and financial assistance options.
• Provide professional, compassionate and friendly service to patients, families and staff.
• Support Revenue Cycle operations and pricing procedures.
