Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED or equivalent required.
• Complete and pass the Patient Access training course.
• Ability to work in a high volume, fast-paced environment.
• Detail oriented, organized, team player with strong customer service.
• Experience with Microsoft Office and EMR applications; accurate typing.
• Knowledge of HIPAA, AHCA, EMTALA, and Medicare guidelines.
• Bilingual English, Spanish/Creole.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate patient flow and timely processing within the department.
• Respond to patient questions; explain pricing and financial assistance options.
• Maintain knowledge of Baptist Health South Florida Revenue Cycle operations.
• Provide professional, compassionate service consistent with the organization’s standards.
