Job summary

Baptist Health in Miami, FL is seeking a Patient Access representative to coordinate patient flow and ensure timely processing within our department and physician practices.

The incumbent will maintain knowledge of insurance requirements, pricing, and revenue cycle operations, while delivering professional, compassionate, and friendly service to patients and families. Hourly pay ranges from $16.61 to $21.09 depending on experience.

Qualifications

• Must complete and pass the Patient Access training course.
• Able to work in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.
• Detail oriented, organized, team player with strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of medical and insurance terminology desired.
• Experience with computer applications (MS Office, EMR) and accurate typing.

• Coordinate patient flow and timely processing within the department/physician practice/hospital.
• Maintain knowledge of insurance requirements, pricing, and revenue cycle operations.
