Job summary

Baptist Health in Miami is hiring for an entry-level Patient Access role. You will coordinate patient flow, handle timely processing, and support revenue cycle initiatives in a fast-paced hospital environment.

The position requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and completion of Patient Access training. Bilingual English/Spanish/Creole is valued, with opportunities for growth and professional development.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Complete and pass the Patient Access training course.
• Ability to work in a high-volume, fast-paced environment and perform basic math.
• Detail oriented, organized, team player with excellent customer service.
• Knowledge of medical and insurance terminology preferred.
• Experience with computer applications and accurate typing skills.
• Knowledge of HIPAA/AHCA/EMTALA and Medicare guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate patient flow and timely processing.
• Maintain knowledge of Baptist Health South Florida policies and pricing; support revenue cycle operations.
• Assist in go-lives, onboarding and training of team members; participate in departmental initiatives.
