Hanger, Inc. is seeking a Patient Access Coordinator in Oklahoma City to ensure a seamless experience for patients, staff, and referral sources. You will manage front desk operations, verify demographics and insurance, and handle patient payments with a focus on accuracy and service.

The role emphasizes strong communication, computer proficiency, and the ability to work with diverse patients. Experience in medical front office is preferred, with a competitive benefits package offered.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Talent Sorter assessment may be administered as part of selection.
• Less than one year of customer service or related experience is required.
• Experience in a receptionist role or medical front office is preferred.
• Must have or be eligible for a valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist patients at the front desk and provide wait-time information.
• Verify and update patient demographics and insurance during check-in; handle walk-ins.
• Collect patient payments including deductibles, copays, and coinsurance at the front desk.
• Schedule follow-up appointments, cast/measure deliveries, and prosthetic care plans.
• Serve as liaison for clinic services and patient experience programs.
• Collaborate with Revenue Cycle Management to obtain patient information.
• Maintain accurate electronic health records for all patients.
