University of Southern California Arcadia Hospital is seeking a Patient Access Representative to greet patients, collect demographics, and initiate admission records. The role requires handling financial arrangements and maintaining accurate patient data with a high standard of service.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent is required.
• Minimum 2 years of customer service experience.
• BLS certification required or must be provided within 30 days of hire.
• M.A.B. certification required; new hires must obtain within 6 months of hire.

Responsabilités

• Greet patients or guests and address their requests professionally.
• Document financial arrangements in patient accounts and notify managers of problem accounts.
• Assist in the training of new employees and promote teamwork.
• Uphold HIPAA and other regulatory requirements in all patient interactions.
• Complete patient admissions data and ensure accurate records are maintained.
• Direct patients to proper destinations within the hospital and provide directions as needed.
