Job summary

MountainOne is seeking a patient access representative to courteously interview patients and family members for inpatient or outpatient services, capturing accurate demographics and insurance data.

You will enter information into the hospital registration system, ensure HIPAA privacy compliance, assist with upfront cash collection, and help optimize insurance reimbursement.

Schedule is 32 hours per week with two 12-hour shifts (8am–8pm) and one 8-hour shift (8am–4:30pm), with rotating weekends.

Qualifications

• Interview patients and family members during pre-admission, admission, and discharge.
• Accurately collect and verify demographic and insurance data.
• Ensure HIPAA privacy compliance and upfront cash collection.

Responsibilities

• Assembles patient data and enters into the hospital registration system.
• Coordinates with inpatient and outpatient services to verify information.
• Supports accurate insurance reimbursement through data verification.
