Job summary

The Medical Center is seeking a courteous interviewer to screen patients and families in pre-admission, admission, or discharge scenarios. You will collect demographics, verify insurance information, and ensure HIPAA compliance while coordinating with registration and billing teams.

The role features 32 hours per week with rotating shifts (two 12-hour shifts and one 8-hour shift), including weekends. Strong attention to detail and excellent communication are essential for accurate upfront cash

Responsibilities

• Interviews patients and/or family members requiring inpatient or outpatient services at the Medical Center.
• Accurately enters demographic and insurance information into the hospital registration system.
• Verify HIPAA privacy regulations compliance and assist with upfront cash collection and insurance reimbursement.
