Job summary

The Community College of Baltimore County is seeking an experienced Academic, Career Advisor to provide holistic case management to assigned student caseloads, guiding them from enrollment through credential completion and toward transfer or employment.

The role collaborates with academic and student service departments, offers referrals, coaches, and tracks progress, including outreach during evenings and online services.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree required.
• Four (4) years of work experience as an academic, faculty, or career advisor is required.
• Experience providing student case management to a diverse group of students in a collegiate setting is required.

Responsibilities

• Serve as lead advocate for students within the success team, coordinating resources and providing guidance.
• Cultivate relationships with assigned students and provide holistic case management, tracking progress and developing plans.
• Provide comprehensive academic, career, and transfer advisement services to assist students in achieving goals.
• Assist students in exploring career options and provide referrals to career services.
