Qualifications

• Comprehensive knowledge of curricular programs, academic requirements, career opportunities, and enrollment services processes within a higher education setting.
• Experience applying student development theories to support the academic and personal growth of a diverse student body.
• Proficiency interpreting institutional policies and procedures.
• Working knowledge and use of technology and student information systems to manage student data.
• Experience with cultural competency and creating an inclusive environment.
• Demonstrated history of continuous professional development.
• Bachelor's degree with coursework in counseling or a related field.
• Progressive experience working with a variety of individuals in an advisory or counseling capacity; college environment preferred.
• Experience leading outreach and trainings.

Responsibilities

• Provide student-centered academic advising from onboarding to graduation.
