Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Three years of advising, counseling, or case management experience at a higher education institution.
• Experience in career services, financial aid, or admissions/college readiness support is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manages an assigned advising caseload guiding students through program selection, academic planning, registration, graduation, and transfer requirements.
• Advises students on career and educational goals, course placement, program changes, withdrawals, and other academic decisions.
• Monitors progress, degree completion, advising benchmarks, and coordinates interventions for at-risk students.
• Interprets placement and testing results and communicates policies, procedures, and resources.
• Provides in-person and virtual advising and supports registration, recruitment, admissions, and student success initiatives.
• Collaborates with faculty, Financial Aid, and other departments to resolve student needs and support progression.
