Dow Inc. is seeking a Patent Prosecution Paralegal to support the patent team. Based on site in Midland, Michigan, or Lake Jackson, Texas, you will independently handle U.S.

and international patent filings, deadlines, and related documents with precision and professional judgment. Responsibilities include coordinating with attorneys, foreign associates, vendors, and docketing teams to ensure timely action; maintaining prosecution records; and supporting process improvements and standard

Qualifications

• Associate degree OR 2 years of relevant work experience such as paralegal, legal professional, intellectual property, docketing, or comparable deadline-driven experience.
• U.S. work eligibility is required; no visa sponsorship is available for this position.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, review, and file U.S. patent applications, international PCT applications, office action responses, information disclosure statements, notices, and other prosecution-related submissions.
• Coordinate domestic and foreign patent prosecution activities, including filing instructions and foreign associate communications.
• Monitor dockets and deadlines, review patent office communications, and maintain accurate prosecution records.
• Communicate with clients and stakeholders regarding filings and maintenance matters.
