Job summary

Dow Inc. is seeking a Patent Prosecution Paralegal to support patent filings and office actions. Based on site in Midland, Michigan, or Lake Jackson, Texas, you will handle U.S. and international filings under the supervision of legal professionals, ensuring deadlines are met with accuracy and discretion.

You will work with attorneys, docketing teams, and vendors, helping maintain records and improve processes through strong organization, communication, and attention to detail.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or 2 years of relevant paralegal, legal, IP, docketing experience.
• Must be able to work legally in the United States; no visa sponsorship.
• Experience with patent prosecution processes and deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and file U.S. patent applications and international PCT documents.
• Monitor dockets and deadlines; coordinate with attorneys, clients, foreign counsel, vendors and docketing teams.
• Maintain accurate patent records and communicate with clients regarding filings and official communications.
• Assist with information disclosure statements, notices, and prosecution-related documents.
