Job summary

Dow Inc. is seeking a Patent Prosecution Paralegal to support the preparation, review, and filing of U.S. patent applications and international PCT filings.

Based on site in Midland, Michigan, or Lake Jackson, Texas, you will manage prosecution deadlines, communicate with attorneys and clients, and help maintain comprehensive patent records. You will work with a team to improve workflows, automate processes, and ensure timely, compliant patent portfolio management.

Qualifications

• Associate degree OR 2 years of paralegal/IP experience.
• Eligibility to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, review, and file US patent applications and related documents.
• Coordinate domestic and foreign prosecution activities and deadlines.
• Monitor dockets and communicate with clients and foreign counsel.
• Maintain accurate patent records and assist with inventor information.
• Support policy, templates, and tools to improve processes.
