The role requires 21+ with a culinary arts background or equivalent experience, and 1–2 years in kitchen operations. This part-time role offers flexible scheduling including nights and weekends.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Degree in culinary arts preferred, though extensive culinary experience may be considered in lieu of formal education.
• 1–2 years of kitchen operations experience.
• Valid Food Manager Certification.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and decision‑making abilities.
• Passion for community engagement and exceptional customer experiences.

Responsibilities

• Represent Sur La Table’s brand by delivering memorable, educational pastry experiences.
• Drive class enrollments and revenue through engaging in-store pastry classes.
• Deliver technical pastry instruction in a clear, encouraging manner.
• Maintain knowledge of products and participate in available training.
