Job summary

Sur La Table is seeking a Chef Instructor, Pastry to serve as the in-store expert for baking and pastry arts. You will deliver hands-on pastry classes, share techniques, and drive sales of bakeware and decorating tools while upholding our best-in-class service standards.

You will communicate complex pastry concepts clearly and stay current on products and class offerings, contributing to a positive customer experience and ongoing brand loyalty.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• A degree in culinary arts is preferred; however, candidates with extensive culinary experience and demonstrated technical proficiency will be considered in lieu of formal education.
• 1-2 years of kitchen operations experience.
• Valid Food Manager Certification.

• Assist in setting up and breaking down classes, including mise en place, prepping ingredients, and cleaning workstations.
