Job summary

Equipment Depot Inc. is seeking a Parts Counter Associate to identify customer needs, provide replacement parts, process orders, and maintain accurate stock levels across store locations.

Qualifications

• Ability to manage inventory and stock labels accurately.

Responsibilities

• Read catalogs or displays to determine replacement part stock numbers and prices.
• Receive and fill telephone orders for parts.
• Fill customer orders from stock and prepare counter tickets/slips.
• Advise customers on substitutions when identical replacements are not available.
• Examine returned parts for defects and exchange or refund as needed.
• Mark and store parts in stockrooms according to system.
• Discuss part features with customers based on machine knowledge.
• Prepare parts for internal transfers between branches.
