Job summary

Post Equipment Corp. is seeking a full-time parts counter associate with strong ag equipment knowledge and a passion for customer service. You will help customers find the right parts, process sales, and work with the warehouse to ensure accurate, on-time deliveries.

The ideal candidate learns quickly, communicates clearly, and can manage a steady flow of phone and walk-in requests while maintaining accuracy and a professional demeanor.

Qualifications

• Must have strong knowledge of agricultural equipment parts, with cattle feeder parts knowledge preferred.
• Proven ability to learn multiple product lines quickly and identify the correct part.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, non-stop environment while staying accurate.
• Basic computer skills; QuickBooks familiarity a plus (training provided).

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist customers in person and over the phone.
• Identify customer needs and recommend appropriate parts, products, and solutions.
• Provide accurate product information and utilize team resources as needed.
• Process over-the-counter and phone sales transactions accurately and efficiently.
• Prepare quotes and submit orders using price lists and catalogs.
• Manage and grow customer accounts through regular outreach and follow-up.
• Coordinate with warehouse to ensure on-time deliveries and clear order status.
• Process returns and exchanges according to policy.
• Represent Post Equipment at industry events as needed.
