Job summary

Vermeer All Roads is seeking a Parts & Service Assistant to support customers in the parts and service departments. The role offers a pathway to learn and grow with a go-getter mindset and willingness to wear many hats.

Compensation ranges from $18 to $23 per hour, based on experience, with a Monday–Friday schedule from 7 am to 5 pm at Laurel, KY. Immediate benefits and a 401k are included, reflecting a commitment to employees and ongoing training opportunities.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Experience in customer service is preferred.
• Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers in selecting required parts when needed.
• Assist Manager with writing service work orders and communicating with shop technicians
• Operate the forklift as needed
• Utilize CDK for parts and labor/service information
• Provide price quotes, receive payments, and obtain credit authorizations
• Answer incoming calls, answer parts questions and schedule service for the customers
• Document repair and service orders in the correct fashion
• Assist in stocking, shipping and receiving parts
• All other duties as assigned

Fantastic opportunity for a Parts & Service Assistant at Vermeer All Roads. This position is designed to assist our customers with in the parts & service departments. Compensation $18 - $23/hr based on experience

Schedule, dealership is open Monday - Friday 7 am-5 pm

Required Education and Experience

1. High School Diploma or GED required
2. Heavy Equipment experience is preferred, truck or automotive is a plus.
3. Must have excellent customer service skills
4. Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and work efficiently
