Job summary

Vermeer Midwest is seeking a Parts Specialist to be the go-to expert for parts and accessories for heavy equipment. This hands-on role blends customer service with inventory and stockroom duties, with on-the-job training provided.

You’ll assist customers, identify parts using catalogs and schematics, process shipments, and ensure accurate orders while collaborating with the service team. This full-time, in-store role includes a Monday–Friday day shift.

Qualifications

• A High School diploma or GED with 1+ year in a customer service role (parts counter experience a plus).
• Strong communication, time management and organizational skills.
• Strong Microsoft Office skills and general computer proficiency.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods of time.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers in-store and over the phone with parts inquiries.
• Use catalogs, schematics, and systems to identify needed parts.
• Process incoming shipments and restock inventory.
• Accurately fill customer and service department orders.
• Prepare invoices, sales receipts, and related documentation.
• Perform inventory checks and help maintain organized stock.
• Inspect parts for defects and manage returns or substitutions.

What You’ll Do
