Job summary

Vermeer All Roads is seeking a Parts & Service Assistant in Laurel. You will help customers with parts and service needs, assist with service work orders, and support shop technicians. The role offers growth potential within a busy dealership environment.

Open Monday–Friday, 7 am–5 pm; compensation is $18–$23 per hour based on experience. Requires HS diploma and heavy equipment experience is a plus. Industry benefits include insurance, 401k, PTO and holidays.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Heavy Equipment experience preferred (truck or automotive a plus).
• Must have excellent customer service skills.
• Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and work efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers in selecting required parts when needed.
• Assist Manager with writing service work orders and communicating with shop technicians.
• Operate the forklift as needed.
• Utilize CDK for parts and labor/service information.
• Provide price quotes, receive payments, and obtain credit authorizations.
• Answer incoming calls, answer parts questions and schedule service for the customers.
• Document repair and service orders in the correct fashion.
• Assist in stocking, shipping and receiving parts.
• All other duties as assigned.

Fantastic opportunity for a Parts & Service Assistant at Vermeer All Roads. This position is designed to assist our customers with in the parts & service departments. Bring your parts knowledge (service is a plus) into the position with an opportunity to learn and grow. We are looking for a go-getter who can wear many hats!

Compensation $18 - $23/hr based on experience

Schedule, dealership is open Monday - Friday 7 am-5 pm

Required Education and Experience
