Job summary

Jobtailor in Bozeman, MT is seeking an experienced Parts Manager to lead ordering, verification, and inventory control for collision repair operations. You will coordinate with parts vendors, repair planners, and the shop team to ensure accurate parts availability and timely delivery.

The ideal candidate has a High School Diploma or GED, a valid driver's license, and hands-on experience with CCC One or similar estimating software, plus strong attention to detail and mentoring skills.

Qualifications

• Legally authorized to work in the United States.
• Experience in a parts capacity in the automotive industry.
• Ability to read and understand instructions and work orders.
• Proficient knowledge and use of estimating software.

Responsibilities

• Manage and complete all parts ordering based on initial estimates and supplements
• Communicate with parts vendors and partner with Repair Planners to ensure parts accuracy
• Track parts deliveries and update the Repair Planner on parts status
• Receive, check in, and mirror match delivered parts to repair orders
• Inspect delivered parts for damage within two hours of expected drop-off
• Return incorrect parts immediately to the vendor
• Monitor parts margin, pending credits, shop consumables inventory, and material spend
• Coordinate parts invoicing and ensure invoices are posted daily in CCC One
• Supply Body Technicians with parts reference materials and maintain knowledge of parts installation laws and regulations
• Mentor and direct the Parts Assistant, if applicable
