Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a dedicated Parts Specialist to manage ordering, vendor liaison, and repair-order matching for our automotive operations. You will track deliveries, mirror match parts, and ensure accuracy while complying with installation regulations.

The role requires experience in automotive parts, strong reading and order-fulfillment skills, and proficiency with estimating software. Daily invoicing in CCC One and collaboration with repair teams are core duties.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Valid Driver’s License required.
• Legally allowed to work in the United States.
• Experience in a parts capacity in the automotive industry.
• Ability to read and understand instructions and work orders.
• Proficient knowledge and use of estimating software.

Responsibilities

• Manage and complete all parts ordering based on initial estimates and supplements
• Communicate with parts vendors and partner with Repair Planners to ensure parts accuracy
• Track parts deliveries and update Repair Planners on parts status
• Receive, check in, and mirror match delivered parts to repair orders
• Inspect delivered parts for damage within two hours of expected drop-off
• Return incorrect parts immediately to vendors
• Monitor parts margin, pending credits, shop consumables inventory, and material spend
• Communicate with the General Manager regarding optimization
• Ensure parts invoices are posted daily in CCC One and make corrections as necessary
• Support Body Technicians with parts knowledge and reference materials
• Keep up with laws and regulations governing parts installation
• Mentor and direct the Parts Assistant, if applicable
