City of Houston is seeking a Customer Service Representative II - Parts Inventory in the Fleet Management Department. The role involves handling orders, stocking, and distributing parts while supporting JIT warehouse operations and inventory control systems.

The candidate will drive to multiple locations for inventory counts and part deliveries, ensuring accurate customer service and secure recordkeeping. Two years of relevant experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Requires two years of administrative or customer service experience.
• High school diploma or GED required; Associate degree may substitute for up to two years of the experience requirement.
• Preference given to applicants with MS Excel, MS Access, SAP, and Asset-works M5; driving license highly desired.

Responsabilités

• Handle ordering, purchasing, receiving, stocking, and distribution of parts and inventory.
• Support Just-In-Time (JIT) warehouse operations and inventory control systems.
• Provide timely customer service and resolve inquiries via phone, email, or in person.
• Deliver parts to various locations and conduct inventory counts.
• Prepare documents to adjust customer accounts and maintain records.
