Key responsibilities include responding to product inquiries, negotiating pricing within guidelines to protect gross profit, maintaining inventory, and coordinating with Account Representatives to ensure customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required with 0–3 years of related experience.
• Reliable, organized, detail-oriented.
• Excellent communication, both written and verbal.
• Strong time-management and multitasking abilities.
• Basic computer skills and ability to navigate business systems.
• Product knowledge is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Respond to basic customer inquiries and provide quotes.
• Enter orders via telephone, email, fax, or walk-in.
• Negotiate pricing within allowed parameters to influence gross profit.
• Build relationships to drive repeat business and improve processes.
• Ensure inventory is maintained and order fulfillment is accurate.
• Determine cost-effective shipping methods.
• Handle returns and expedite backorders.
• Coordinate with Account Representatives to ensure customer satisfaction.
• May place orders up to $5,000 per line and $10,000 per PO.
