Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with 0–3 years of related experience or equivalent.
• Strong communication skills, including written, verbal, and listening.
• Reliability, organization, and attention to detail are essential.
• Moderate computer skills and ability to use business systems and search capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Respond to basic customer inquiries, provide quotes, and enter orders.
• Place customer orders via phone, fax, email, or walk-in (counter sales).
• Influence gross profit by negotiating price within parameters.
• Build relationships to drive repeat business and improve processes.
• Ensure inventory availability and source products from inventory or suppliers.
• Determine cost-effective shipping methods for orders.
• Coordinate with Account Representatives to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Expedite backorders and prepare shipments.
• Handle customer returns as needed.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
