Job summary

Motion Industries is seeking a Customer Service Representative to fulfill customer orders and handle calls with close supervision. You will enter orders, provide quotes, and respond to inquiries to ensure accuracy and timeliness.

You will negotiate pricing within parameters to influence gross profit, adjust pricing when needed, and build relationships to drive repeat business while coordinating inventory and shipment planning.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required or equivalent experience.
• Strong written and verbal communication with attention to detail.
• Ability to enter orders accurately and respond to inquiries.

Responsibilities

• Respond to basic inquiries, provide quotes, and enter orders.
• Place orders via phone, fax, email, or walk-in at counter.
• Influence gross profit through negotiated pricing within parameters.
• Adjust non-contract pricing to meet customer demands while maximizing profit.
• Build customer relationships to drive repeat business and improve processes.
• Maintain appropriate inventory levels to fulfill orders.
• Source products from branch, distribution, or supplier inventory.
• Determine cost-effective shipping methods for orders.
• Collaborate with Account Representatives to ensure satisfaction.
• Expedite backorders and prepare shipments; handle returns as needed.
