Job summary

Gerber Collision & Glass Lampasas is seeking an experienced shop support professional to manage automotive parts, invoices, and supplier communications. The role emphasizes accurate parts handling, timely distribution, and clear cross-team communication to support fast-paced collision repair operations.

Ideal candidates have 1–3+ years of parts experience, a high school diploma, and I-CAR registration or progress toward Gold Class.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• 1-3+ years of experience working with automotive parts (auto body parts a bonus)
• Customer Service oriented and able to prioritize tasks under pressure
• I-CAR Registered (working towards Gold Class certification)

Responsibilities

• Ensure consistent execution of WOW plan.
• Communicate all customer requests to the appropriate team members.
• Order and receive parts per repair orders, verify quality and quantity.
• Ensure timely parts distribution to the shop as per production schedule.
• Enter all parts invoices into MIS and reconcile vendor invoices.
• Label and track parts by RO number and store with vehicle.
• Communicate Parts Price Changes to required team members.
• Monitor parts/vendor performance and handle sublet vendors.
