Job summary

Lithia & Driveway in Chantilly, VA is seeking a Parts Advisor to greet customers, answer questions, manage parts orders, and coordinate with the service team. You will process invoices in ADP, manage inventory, and ensure accurate stock and pricing.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Valid driver's license is required.
• Strong math skills for inventory, payments and invoicing.
• Knowledge of automotive parts.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Answer telephone and greet customers professionally.
• Assist customers by answering questions and taking parts orders.
• Check stock availability and coordinate parts for service needs.
• Maintain clean, organized counter, stockroom and work areas.
• Order parts from suppliers as needed for service.
• Create accurate invoices in ADP and process payments.
• Receive, unpack and store parts and maintain inventory records.
• Handle returns, warranties and core processing as needed.

You will need to be available to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.What You'll DoAnswer telephone and greet customers in a friendly and professional manner in accordance with Incoming Telephone Call (ITC) standards.Communicate effectively with customers and vendors via phone, in-person or email.Assist customers by answering questions, checking stock availability, and taking parts orders in a quick, friendly and professional manner in accordance with Initial Customer Contact (ICC) process.Maintain clean and professional appearance of counter, work area and stockroom.Interact with Service Team to coordinate parts for vehicle repair and service.Order parts from suppliers based on service department and customer requests.Create accurate invoices in ADP.Receive, unpack and store parts in appropriate storage areas so they are readily available when needed.Check quantity and condition of goods received against invoices and purchase orders.
