Job summary

GoodLeap, a technology company delivering financing and software for sustainable home improvements, seeks a Business Development Manager in Cincinnati. You will identify, qualify, and recruit Home Improvement contractors, helping them access superior loan programs and closing deals using financing.

You will work with cross-functional teams, communicating clearly with executives and partners, while advancing sales processes in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years' experience selling to HI contractors or distributors.
• Experience working for a HI contractor selling to homeowners using financing to close deals.
• Excellent verbal and written communication; able to engage with all levels of an organization.
• Ability to articulate ideas through client proposals and persuasive presentations.
• Able to prioritize in a fast-paced environment with strong attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Proactively identify, qualify, and sign prospective GoodLeap partners; works accounts under 2M/year; handoff to outside sales for >2M.
• Source new partnership opportunities via inbound leads and outbound calls/emails.
• Develop knowledge of GoodLeap products and match customer needs to connect them.
• Collaborate with Business Development Directors to ensure partner success; provide BI-driven guidance.
• Innovate on sales processes, pitches, and approaches; improve initiatives within a growing company.
• Explain and position technical issues such as financial products and legal agreements clearly.
• Interact with Executive team to develop new or enhance existing programs.
