Job summary

GoodLeap is seeking a Business Development Manager to recruit and qualify Home Improvement contractor partners, enabling access to superior loan programs. You will work with a dynamic, energetic team to grow partner networks and drive financing-enabled home improvement projects.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in HI contractor sales, strong communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple accounts while collaborating across departments.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of sales experience in home improvement or similar sectors.
• Experience selling to home improvement contractors and distributors.
• Experience selling financing-enabled solutions to homeowners.
• Excellent verbal and written communication with cross-functional teams and executives.
• Ability to prepare client proposals and persuasive presentations.
• Able to prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Customer-focused mindset with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Proactively identify and sign prospective GoodLeap partners; manage accounts under $2M/year and hand off larger deals to outside sales.
• Source new partnership opportunities via inbound leads and outbound outreach.
• Develop deep knowledge of GoodLeap products to connect partners with solutions.
• Collaborate with BD Directors to ensure partner success and provide BI-guided guidance.
• Improve sales processes, pitches, and approaches; contribute to new initiatives in a growing company.
• Explain and position financial products and legal agreements clearly to partners.
• Engage with executive leadership to create and enhance programs.
