Job summary

GoodLeap is seeking a Business Development Manager in Chicago to identify and sign home improvement contractors, enabling access to superior loan programs. You will collaborate with the Business Development team to ensure partner success and growth through strategic outreach and BI-driven guidance.

You will articulate complex financial products, work with leadership, and help refine sales processes in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years selling to home improvement contractors or distributors.
• Experience selling financing to homeowners for HI projects.
• Excellent verbal and written communication across all levels of an organization.

Responsibilities

• Identify, qualify, and sign prospective GoodLeap partners; manage accounts under 2M/yr.
• Source new partnerships via inbound/outbound outreach.
• Develop knowledge of GoodLeap products and align with partner needs.
• Collaborate with BD Directors to drive partner success and growth.
• Improve sales processes and pitches, providing feedback to the team.
• Explain financial products and legal agreements clearly.
• Engage with Executive team to develop programs.
