Job summary

GoodLeap is looking for a Business Development Manager in Portland, OR to help Home Improvement Contractors join the GoodLeap family. You will proactively identify and qualify prospective partners and collaborate with the Business Development team to ensure partner success.

This role focuses on connecting contractors with superior loan programs while joining a fun, energetic group. With a minimum of five years selling to HI contractors or distributors and strong communication skills, you will

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years selling to HI contractors or distributors.
• Experience selling to homeowners using financing to close deals.
• Excellent verbal and written communication with executives.
• Ability to articulate ideas through proposals and outreach materials.
• Ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Identify, qualify, and sign prospective GoodLeap partners; manage accounts under $2M annually.
• Source new partnerships via inbound leads and outbound outreach.
• Develop knowledge of GoodLeap products to match customer needs.
• Collaborate with BD Directors to ensure partner success.
• Improve sales processes and pitches; provide feedback for growth.
• Explain financial products and legal agreements clearly.
• Engage with executives to develop new programs.
