Job summary

Boys & Girls Clubs of Southern Nevada is seeking a School Site Specialist (Part Time) to oversee operations and programs at Clark High School in Las Vegas. The role requires collaboration with our Programs team and school staff to develop, implement, and report on youth programs.

The position is part-time with a pay of $19.00 per hour. Responsibilities include managing program activities, ensuring safety and quality, and serving as a liaison with school administration.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Three years of experience in a Boys & Girls Club or similar organization working with youth in an education and/or art setting.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft and/or Google suite of productivity applications (Word, Excel, Forms, Outlook, etc.).
• Ability to deal effectively with multi-age groups of children, small groups of children in activities and free play, and large groups of children in organized activities.
• Ability to meet deadlines with time constraints and handle multiple demands.
• Strong interpersonal and team leadership skills.
• Ability to interact professionally with the public, families, Youth Development Professionals, and members.
• Demonstrated ability to take responsibility for the safety, well-being, and output of others.

Responsibilities

• Oversee programming and operation at the assigned school site, collaborating with Programs team and school staff.
• Maintain site safety, cleanliness, and proper equipment operation with site staff.
• Provide mentorship and enforce standards for members, with feedback for conduct issues as needed.
• Handle administrative duties including enrollments, payments, attendance, and program tracking.
• Liaise between BGCSNV and the school site, representing BGCSNV at events.
