Job summary

Boys & Girls Clubs of Southern Nevada is seeking a School Site Lead to direct daily operations at the designated School Site(s). You will oversee program development, staff supervision, and partnerships with families and schools to deliver high-quality youth services.

The role emphasizes safe environments, staff coaching, and strategic initiatives to enhance youth outcomes. Occasional extended hours may be required, with CPR/First Aid certification or plans to obtain within 90 days.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years progressively responsible work experience in a Boys & Girls Club or similar organization planning and supervising activities based on the developmental needs of young people.
• Proficient in Internet use and Microsoft Office.
• Ability to deal effectively with multi-age children, small groups, and large groups in activities.
• Demonstrated ability to handle multiple demands from several people and meet deadlines.
• Strong interpersonal and team leadership skills; able to interact professionally with the public, vendors and colleagues.
• Able to work occasional irregular or extended hours.
• Working knowledge of MS/Google productivity applications (Word, Excel, Forms, Outlook, etc.).
• Valid Nevada driver’s license with good driving record; use of personal vehicle may be required.
• CPR/First Aid/AED certification or ability to obtain within first 90 days.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and administer comprehensive programs with emphasis on youth and teen development outcomes.
• Recruit, hire, and manage personnel; supervise, coach, and support staff.
• Coordinate transportation schedules and logistics; ensure safe, welcoming environment.
• Develop partnerships with parents, schools, and community organizations; communicate program objectives.
• Monitor program quality, compliance with policies, safety standards, and licensing requirements.
• Prepare program reports, attendance data, and documentation; participate in leadership meetings and trainings.
