Job summary

Boys & Girls Clubs of Southern Nevada is seeking a Part-Time Afternoon Program Aide to support youth programs and daily Clubhouse operations in Las Vegas, NV.

You will lead and supervise activities for ages 5-18, promote engagement across program areas, and help ensure safety and positive behavior. Pay is $17.00 per hour; applicants must be 18+, have a high school diploma, and basic Microsoft Office skills.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or GED.
• Must be 18 years of age.
• Ability to meet deadlines with time constraints.
• Ability to work with youth ages 5-18.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Forms, Outlook, etc.).
• Ability to interact well with Youth Development Professionals, volunteers, and other agencies.
• Demonstrated responsibility for safety and well-being of others.

Responsibilities

• Lead and implement programs that support Youth Development Outcomes.
• Promote member participation across core areas.
• Provide feedback to develop members' skills and ensure objectives are met.
• Plan programs and activities with supervision.
• Engage with members, families, volunteers, and staff to relay information.
• Demonstrate leadership to maintain a safe, respectful environment.
• Serve as a mentor and role model for members.
• Assist with Clubhouse cleanliness and operations.
• Complete required program documentation and monthly attendance.
