Job summary

Boys & Girls Clubs of Southern Nevada seeks a School Site Lead to oversee daily operations at designated site(s), directing program delivery and ensuring a safe, welcoming environment for youth and staff.

You will recruit and supervise staff, build partnerships with families and schools, coordinate transportation, and monitor program quality to meet organizational goals and youth outcomes.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years of progressively responsible work in a Boys & Girls Club or similar org.
• Proficient in Internet use and Microsoft Office.
• Ability to work with multi-age children and large groups.
• Strong time management and ability to meet deadlines.
• Excellent interpersonal and team leadership skills.
• Valid Nevada driver's license and good driving record.
• CPR/First Aid/AED certification, or ability to obtain within first 90 days of employment.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and administer programs across five core areas with youth/teens focus.
• Attend meetings/trainings and update staff on club initiatives.
• Build partnerships with parents, schools, community organizations, and local agencies.
• Coordinate transportation schedules and logistics as applicable.
• Represent the organization and communicate mission and opportunities to youth and families.
• Maintain a safe, welcoming environment for members and staff.
• Oversee behavior management and disciplinary procedures, including parent communication.
• Develop strategic initiatives to meet organizational goals and measurable youth outcomes.
• Monitor and improve program quality via observations, audits, and reports.
• Ensure compliance with policies, safety standards, licensing, and financial guidelines.
• Foster a positive, safe, inclusive club experience for all.
• Supervise, coach, and support staff; partner with HR on employee relations and performance.
• Recruit, train, supervise, and develop staff for high-quality program delivery.
• Provide leadership to volunteers and community partners.
• Conduct staff meetings and ongoing professional development.
• Prepare program reports and attendance data in a timely manner.
• Attend leadership meetings, trainings, all-staff meetings, and events.
• Perform other duties to support mission and operations.
