Job summary

Boys & Girls Clubs of Southern Nevada is seeking a Program Aide to support youth development through diverse programs, supervision, and clubhouse operations.

You will lead and implement activities, engage with members and families, and ensure safety and positive behavior. The role requires a high school diploma, 18+ years old, and strong Microsoft Office skills. Availability for irregular hours may be needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Ability to meet deadlines with time constraints and handle multiple demands.
• Ability to work with youth ages 5-18.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Forms, Outlook, etc.).
• Ability to interact well with Youth Development Professionals, volunteers, and other related agencies.
• Demonstrated ability to take responsibility for the safety and well-being of others.

Responsibilities

• Lead and implement programs that support Youth Development Outcomes.
• Encourage members’ participation across program areas with feedback.
• Ensure objectives meet club requirements, resources, and timelines.
• Plan programs and activities; support fellow staff.
• Engage with members, families, Youth Development Professionals, and volunteers.
• Participate in meetings and trainings for alignment with other departments.
• Model appropriate behavior; enforce safety standards.
• Mentor members and set expectations for conduct.
• Assist with Clubhouse cleanliness and operations.
• Complete program documentation and tracking.
• Assist in meetings and trainings; collaborate with departments.
• Drive Club vans as needed; valid Nevada license.
• Maintain a professional appearance; flexible hours may be required.
• May work at other Clubhouse locations; perform other duties.
