Job summary

The Police Athletic League (PAL) of New York City is seeking a Part Time Clerk to greet participants and families, sign participants in and out, and enter data tracking program participation. The Clerk reports to the COMPASS or SONYC Director and works 15 hours per week at the Duncan Center in New York, NY.

Responsibilities include welcoming attendees, distributing information, maintaining office procedures, and supporting staff.

Qualifications

• Minimum High School Diploma or GED.
• Associate degree preferred.
• Bi-lingual in Spanish, French, or Chinese preferred.
• At least two years of youth-serving non-profit experience.

Responsibilities

• Greet participants and families and provide information about program services.
• Sign participants in and out during program hours.
• Enter data tracking program participation and attendance.
• Distribute information to youth, staff, and caretakers.
• Assist Administrative Assistant with data entry and materials.
• Attend required trainings, meetings, and events.
