Job summary

The Police Athletic League in New York, NY is seeking a Part Time Clerk to greet participants and families, sign participants in/out, and enter data tracking participation. The Clerk will report to the COMPASS or SONYC Director and contribute to a warm, organized program environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum High School Diploma / GED; associates degree preferred.
• At least 18 years old with experience in youth programs.
• Ability to communicate well and collaborate with staff and families.
• Bilingual ability in Spanish, French, or Chinese is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet participants and families and sign participants in and out during program hours.
• Enter data tracking program participation and assist in data entry.
• Provide information about program services and respond to questions from parents and staff.
• Assist Administrative Assistant with data entry and materials development.
• Maintain safe, welcoming, and inclusive PAL center environment.
• Attend required trainings, meetings, and events.
