BJC HealthCare seeks a Part-time Patient Access Representative to serve as the first point of contact for patients at a BJC facility. The role emphasizes accuracy in demographics, insurance verification, and MPI selection, while upholding our service standards with a friendly, professional demeanor.

The position requires weekend shifts (Saturday and Sunday 2:30 PM - 11:00 PM) and one holiday per year. Strong attention to detail and knowledge of Medicare guidelines help maximize reimbursements

Qualifikationen

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Associates degree preferred.
• Familiarity with MSP, HIPAA Privacy Standards, EMTALA and JCAHO requirements.

• Register patients, schedule appointments, verify insurance, and collect documents.
• Provide prep instructions and educate patients on financial responsibilities and payments.
• Correctly identify patients using MPI and maintain accurate records.
• Adhere to MSP, HIPAA, and other regulatory requirements.
