Job summary

Cadmus Group is seeking an experienced, part-time professional to provide technical assistance to water and wastewater utilities, focusing on SDWA/CWA compliance and regulatory program support. The role involves on-site field work and remote assistance for diverse communities, including rural and tribal utilities, with travel as needed.

The candidate will develop client-ready products, perform data collection and analysis, and collaborate with regulators and operators to improve public health

Qualifications

• Master’s degree with coursework in engineering, public health, environmental science and policy or similar field with at least 8 years of relevant experience, or a Bachelor’s with the same coursework and at least 10 years of experience.
• Experience with SDWA and/or CWA regulatory programs.
• Experience inspecting water utilities.
• Certification as a water and/or wastewater operator is preferred.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills with the ability to learn quickly and work independently or in a team.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Excellent organizational skills with keen attention to detail.
• Ability to travel.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications including Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.

• Provide technical expertise in support of technical assistance to drinking water and wastewater utilities, regulatory program implementation oversight, and guidance development.
• Demonstrate professionalism and sound judgment in interactions with clients and colleagues.
