Job summary

Five Below in Pekin, IL is hiring a Support Lead on a part-time basis. The role trains crew on the BEST customer service experience, oversees store associates, and supports stock arrival and organization.

As needed, you’ll act as Manager on Duty, handle opening/closing, and maintain smooth daily operations. The position requires strong communication, multitasking, and the ability to adapt to a dynamic store environment.

Qualifications

• High School Graduate or equivalent.
• College experience preferred.
• Minimum 1 year of management experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to multi-task.
• Creative thinking.
• Ability to maintain composure under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Wow customers through personal contact and exceptional service.
• Oversee daily activities of store associates and ensure excellent customer service.
• Assist with receiving, unpacking, and organizing new stock for quick placement on floor.
• Act as Manager on Duty when needed, handling store operations and staff.
• Open/close the store, secure cash, lock doors, set alarms, and ensure daily readiness.
• Support onboarding and training of associates on policies, product knowledge, and procedures.
• Drive sales and control expenses by improving merchandising, staff performance, and customer service.
• Collaborate with store leadership on merchandising and replenishment; perform routine store maintenance.
