Job summary

Five Below is seeking a part-time associate leader to oversee daily store operations and customer service. You will train crew, manage opening/closing procedures, and support merchandising and stock handling to ensure a fast, friendly shopping experience.

You will lead by example, drive sales, and maintain a clean, well-organized store while ensuring policy adherence and exceptional guest satisfaction.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• College experience is preferred but not mandatory.
• Minimum 1 year of management experience is expected.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential.
• Ability to multi-task and stay composed under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Wows customers through personal contact and fast, friendly checkout.
• Trains crew on the BEST customer service experience.
• Oversees daily activities of store associates and ensures service quality.
• Assists with receiving, unpacking, and stocking of new merchandise.
• Acts as Manager on Duty when needed, handling operations and staff.
• Opens/closes the store, secures cash, doors, and alarms.
• Supports onboarding and ongoing training of associates.
• Drives store sales and controls expenses through merchandising and staff performance.
• Maintains store cleanliness and stockroom organization.
