Job summary

Five Below is looking for an enthusiastic manager-on-duty to lead store operations and customer experiences at our Pekin, Illinois location. You will oversee daily activities, supervise associates, and ensure fast, friendly checkout while maintaining stock and merchandising standards.

The role requires at least a high school diploma, 1 year of management experience, strong communication, and the ability to multi-task under pressure. Starting hourly rate is $15.50 with opportunities to grow.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of management experience.

Responsibilities

• Wows customers with personal contact and friendly service.
• Trains crew on the BEST customer service experience for fast checkouts.
• Oversees daily activities of store associates and ensures service quality.
• Aids in receiving, unpacking, and stocking to keep floor replenished.
• Acts as Manager on Duty, managing operations and staff as needed.
• Opens or closes the store, secures cash, and ensures daily readiness.
• Supports onboarding and ongoing training of associates.
