Job summary

Five Below in Columbia, MO is seeking a Support Lead Part Time to oversee daily store operations, train crew, and deliver the BE.S.T. customer service experience. The role involves supervising associates, assisting with stock, and acting as Manager on Duty when needed.

You will manage opening/closing, support onboarding, and work with leadership to improve merchandising and sales while maintaining a positive, fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High School Graduate or equivalent.
• College experience preferred.
• Minimum 1 year of management experience.

Responsibilities

• Ensures crew wow customers through personal contact.
• Trains the crew on the BEST customer service experience; ensuring fast, friendly checkout.
• Oversee daily activities of store associates and ensure excellent customer service.
• Assist with receiving, unpacking, and organizing new stock for quick placement on sales floor.
• Acts as Manager on Duty when needed, overseeing store operations, staff, and customer issues.
• Manages opening or closing procedures, securing cash, doors, alarms, and daily readiness.
• Supports onboarding and ongoing training of associates on policies and product knowledge.
• Drives store sales and helps control expenses by optimizing merchandising and staff performance.
• Partner with store leadership on merchandising procedures and World Recovery.
• Performs store maintenance including cleaning and stock room upkeep.
