Job summary

Five Below is seeking a Store Manager on Duty to join our Blue Springs team. You will oversee daily store operations, train crew on our customer-first B.E.S.T. service, and ensure a fast, friendly checkout experience for every guest.

You will open/close the store, manage cash and safety, assist with stock and merchandising, and partner with leadership to drive sales and controllable expenses. The role requires flexibility, strong communication, and a passion for helping teammates grow.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent
• College experience preferred
• Minimum 1 year of management experience
• Excellent verbal and written communication
• Ability to multi-task
• Creative thinking
• Ability to stay calm under pressure

Responsibilities

• Wowing the customer and training crew on service.
• Oversee daily activities of store associates and ensure quality customer service.
• Assist with receiving and stocking to keep shelves ready.
• Act as Manager on Duty and handle store operations and staff.
• Manage opening/closing procedures including cash security and alarms.
• Support onboarding and ongoing training of associates.
• Drive store sales and manage expenses through merchandising and operations.
• Partner with leadership on merchandising and World Recovery.
• Perform store maintenance and cleanliness tasks.
